• Building and maintaining the automation engine and interface used by hundreds of brands.

So, who are you?
We believe you are a curious and collaborative developer who enjoys working in a team where communication and problem solving are key. You want to grow by tackling real complexity and being part of the full development cycle, not just isolated coding tasks. You probably recognize yourself in this:
• Experience in backend development (C#/.NET, Java, or another OOP language). • Some exposure to frontend (Angular, Aurelia, Vue, or TypeScript) is a plus. • Experience from working in teams and on more complex applications. • Interest in cloud services (Azure, AWS, etc.), helpful but not required. • You value maintainability, scalability, and building systems with real business impact. • You’re proactive, a strong communicator, and motivated by being part of a tight-knit, collaborative team.

About the role
As a Backend Developer in Åre, you will be an integral part of our Automation team, working alongside Anders, Loise, Olof and William. Your main responsibility will be to enhance and further develop our automation engine to provide world-class tools for eCommerce and retail companies that want to personalize communication and customer experiences, while focusing on the backend development.

You will work with complex scaling issues, big data volumes, and data processing to create scalable solutions. You will work closely with other team members to collect customer feedback, develop new functionality, and deploy it into production. You will take ownership over the quality of your code, as well as the deployment to Azure.

Some examples of your daily work:

- Collaborate with the team including developers, Product Manager and UX Designer in cross-functional product teams
- Be involved in the entire development cycle of building new features and functionality into our platform
- Work across the backend stack, including infrastructure, deployment, and Azure services
- Conduct regular code reviews using continuous integration and agile and lean practices

Our development organization consists of multiple teams that collaborate and interact daily. We work according to Agile principles, and our development process is driven by our company vision and OKRs.

The tech stack you will work with includes .NET/C#, Server, Git, and multiple services in Azure.

As a Frontend Developer here at Voyado your focus will be usability and simplicity. You will be part of our development team with approximately 50 colleagues who are organized in smaller subteams, located in Norrköping, Linköping, Stockholm and Åre.

About the role

As an Engineering Manager at Voyado you will be a key player in the product organization and you will be the closest manager for engineers in one to two specific teams. You will be working closely with the tech leadership team to make sure we deliver both value and growth for our existing and future employees. Our development teams are located in all of our three offices (Stockholm, Norrköping and Åre) and consist of approximately 50 engineers who are organized into smaller sub-teams. This means you will interact and work together with an awesome crew of highly professional colleagues while being based at our Åre office!

Some examples of your daily work will be:

- Building and managing your teams of approximately 5-7 direct reporting skilled engineers through hiring, growing and inspiring
- Establishing, following up and streamlining both current and new ways of working, processes and best practices
- Drive company culture and team activities that support the personal growth of both existing and new employees in the team
- Responsibility for work force planning such as recruitment and managing salaries
- Coaching, performance reviews and monthly 1-1
- Collaborate with other managers in the organization

Hos oss får du arbeta med produktutveckling och ingå i ett av våra utvecklingsteam som sitter i Åre. Din verktygslåda kommer att bestå av Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio, javascript/typescript, Aurelia, Git och många olika tjänster i Azure m.m.

Tillsammans med ditt team kommer du att utveckla nya, och vidareutveckla befintliga, features och ta dem från idé och hela vägen ut i produktion. Vi har ett modernt arbetssätt där vi jobbar enligt kanbanfilosofi och med continuous integration där våra releasetåg tuffar iväg varannan vecka.

Du kommer att ingå i Åre-teamet som är en del av ett större utvecklingsteam (fördelat på Åre, STHLM, Norrköping) på drygt 50 personer.
